Toowhit toowhoo!

Little monsters, Sewing & Stuff

Last month a little girl named Lara was born in Kiel, Germany and when I asked her mom what they still needed, she chose a sleeping bag. I still had some of the owl fabric that I used for the new cover of my small ironing board and I thought it was just perfect for a little girl’s sleeping bag. And I find it looks quite nice with the navy lining and zipper that I also found among my supply treasures. So yeah, more owls and sleeping bags… 😉

As it happens, it was also Lara’s older sister Mila’s third birthday two weeks ago, so I thought she might like a sleeping bag too for her baby doll. Just hoping she doesn’t have one yet – and also likes white flannel bunnies… 😉 I definitely had a lot of fun with my very first doll project ever and I particularly like the dark burgundy shade and how the bias tape around the arm and neck holes matches the bunny’s floral dress.

And after a record time of three weeks, the parcel was finally delivered today… 😛

Congratulations again to the whole family! 💛
